Act on criminal liability of legal entities
The corporate criminal liability applies, among others, to the following criminal acts specified in the Criminal Code:
- Unauthorised access to a computer system or a data carrier (Section 230 of the Criminal Code);
- Procurement and keeping of a computer system access device and password and other such data (Section 231 of the Criminal Code),
- Causing damage to a record in a computer system or on a data carrier and intervention into the computer equipment by negligence (Section 232 of the Criminal Code),
- Misrepresentation of financial standing data and property data (Section 254 of the Criminal Code), issue of untrue confirmation and report (Section 259 of the Criminal Code),
- Violation of copyrights, rights related to copyrights and database rights (Section 270 of the Criminal Code),
The legal entities would be subject to high penalties, forfeiture of property, a ban on participating in public tenders, and a ban on receiving subsidies or even dissolution.
According to the new rules, the legal entities will have to analyse their decision-making and control processes, the content of rules they follow and the decisions themselves from the viewpoint of the new criminal risks.
Škoda Auto - go-live with SAP GRC
In December 2011 ŠKODA AUTO, a.s. went live with SAP GRC Version 10.0 solution for managing authorizations, user access and Segregation of Duties rules for SAP applications. Currently components Risk Analysis and Remediation (RAR) and Superuser Privilege Management (SPM) are in use.

Management of information risk safety as an obligation
The recent motion by the government to enact an act implementing criminal liability of legal entities filed, which should come into force from 1 January 2012, created a stir among the Czech criminal law experts and among representatives of business companies. The institute of corporate criminal liability is a new element in the Czech legal system, and this element should co-exist with the traditional criminal law conception based on individual criminal liability of physical persons.
Pursuant to the aforementioned act, legal entities would assume liability for criminal acts committed by their employees, if the competent control bodies or persons did not take measures they should have taken. However the company's own employees are often the most serious threat to safe operation of a company.

New version of SAP GRC
SAP is introducing a new version of SAP GRC application suite for Enterprise Risk Management - Governance, Risk and Compliance. The new version of SAP GRC platform is based on ABAP and offers a harmonized user-friendly interface fully integrated into the existing portfolio of SAP BusinessObjects.

SAP training BW310
In May took place at SAP training SAP BW310. Training is provided by our consultants, SAP provides training materials and training system.SAP SMA service - Menzies Distribution (Scotland)
In cooperation with SAP UK, our consultants took part in the Solution Management Assessment service provided for the company Menzies Distribution in Edinburgh.
Menzies Distribution is one of the biggest media distributor in the UK. Currently, a SAP implementation proceeds. Several distribution centers are operated in SAP now, rollouts for other DC’s are planned as well as start of other functionalities in SAP.
SAP SMA service consists of assessment of the whole implementation after go-live, database parameters check, settings of SAP processes check. Customer is noticed about risks and missing business processes.
SAP training SCM605 - Sales
SAP traning SCM605 – Sales took place in April.
Our consultants provide training of modules MM and SD for SAP Czech Republic in the long term. It is an official training offered by SAP, SAP provides training materials and training system. The training is aimed at SAP team members of SAP customer and SAP consultants.
Training Hewlett-Packard Slovakia
Our consultants provide SAP training of modules SCM, PLM and BW for Hewlett-Packard Slovakia employees during February and March. Training held in the Slovak Republic, consultants use their own training materials.Reference visit from South Africa
The leading media publishing company in South Africa, Media24 asked our customer PNS for a reference visit to discuss the SAP IS-Media implementation which was delivered by SAP and CONSIT. On February 25th top management and IT division representatives came to Czech Republic to visit PNS. They could see how the SAP-Media system is supporting PNS daily business and could compare their internal processes, logistic operations, call center solution, sales planning etc. Both delegations were quite surprised that in spite of geographical location on different continents, their business is very similar. CONSIT supports education
Our company CONSIT donated other computers and printers to the elementary school Plumlov in the end of 2010. Computers could be used by children both for school assignments and for their leisure time activities.
OKD - SAP GRC AC Go-Live
Today OKD, a.s. went live with SAP BusinessObjects GRC AC application for SAP user access management with focus on Segregation of Duties (more about SAP GRC AC).
Project was delivered on time with the official Go-Live date December 20th. During the pilot phase in January 2011 the application will be monitored for performance tuning. Two components were implemented, RAR – Risk Analysis and Remediation and SPM – Superuser Privilege Management.
PNS - SAP go-live of Olomouc plant
PNS division Olomouc started to use SAP information system. Beginning of December 6th SAP information system is supporting full logistic processes of mentioned PNS division plus RET company and completely replaced legacy system SWJ. This was the final step of PNS roll-out and currently all PNS divisions are completely supported by SAP IS-Media PDEX solution.PNS - SAP go-live of Brno plant

PNS division Praha started to use SAP information system. Beginning of September 13th SAP information system is supporting full logistic processes of mentioned division and completely replaced legacy system SWJ.
Zentiva go-live with SAP GRC AC (CUP + ERM)
From September 2010 Zentiva Group, a.s. started to use SAP GRC AC solution for managing authorizations, user access and Segregation of Duties rules for SAP applications. Currently all components - Risk Analysis and Remediation (RAR), Superuser Privilege Management (SPM), Compliant User Provisioning (CUP) and Enterrprise Role Management (ERM) went live. User provisioning proces sis fully automatized via workflow including pasword self-service, SoD alerts etc.
CONSIT supports education
Elementary school in Plumlov started the school year with new computers, which was a gift from CONSIT. This action aims to improve the quality of education in our city, particularly the promotion of computer literacy of children. Zentiva continues with SAP GRC AC implementation
In May 2010 was started second phase of implementation including components – Compliance User Provisioning (CUP) and Enterprise Role Management (ERM). Go-live is planned in September 2010. Application SAP GRC AC is used centrally, not only for Czech republic, but for Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Turkey and other countries from sanofi-aventis group.
PNS go-live with SAP IS-Media
In April 2010 PNS a.s. went live with SAP IS-Media for press distributors. SAP application is supporting complete processes in area of finance, HR, central logistic, purchasing and sales. Currently is complete solution used in Usti nad Labem subsidiary and during next sixt months is planned roll-out to other eight plants.
