The year 2010 passed for the company CONSIT under the sign of several successfully finished projects. The productive run of the industry solution SAP IS-Media in the company PNS, a.s., went live in April 2010 as a part of the pilot project of implementation in this area. Then all other distribution centers were integrated gradually in the new SAP system. The complex functionality of SAP IS-Media is now used by all Distribution Centers of PNS.
"It is dealt about a project of integrated information system. It includes all the activities, which PNS is angaged in. And practical impacts? More efficient communication, faster data processing and more precise data, reducing of price and higher efficiency of the most activities of PNS. System SAP moreover brings a lot of other oppurtunities for the future - e.g. it helps us to optimize the organizational structure and to introduce new products and services. In the beginning of the new year (note: meant 2011), the system is going to be stabilized and tuned, to enable us to follow with the new activities quickly."

CONSIT has expanded its activities in the segment of SAP Security to meet the growing risk awareness and interest in IT Risk Management. During 2010 our consultants successfully implemented SAP BOBJ Access Control at Zentiva Group, a.s. and OKD, a.s.
Within our SAP Security service portfolio which also includes SAP Authorizations Concepts our consultants helped several companies to review their security concept which included a segregation of duties analysis. For the analyses either SPA BOBJ Access Control 5.3 orCONFLEXwhere used.
Our consultants often conduct workshops for clients that want to improve the security level in their companies. The workshops are always tailor-made for every occasion and can cover everything from quick wins by leveraging existing technology to new implementation scenarios.
Our team of consultants gained the new experiences as well in the IS-Retail industry solution, during the new implementation of SAP system in the international project in Croatia. It was carried out in the company TISAK, the leading media distributor in Croatia and the important retail company. It sells newspapers, tobacco products and other small goods and foodstuff. The industry solution IS-Retail was implemented with accent on POS sale, POS interface, automatized replenishment of stocks in kiosks and MRP in distribution centers, both calculated from real consumption. Further, with accent on following purchasing process and on simplified master data management for big amount of sites.
